SVG to PNG

Upload or paste a static SVG and choose the PNG dimensions. Unsafe content and external resources are blocked before the SVG is rendered.

Maximum 1 MB. Uploading replaces the source editor below.

Use a self-contained SVG with its SVG namespace. External images, fonts, scripts, animation, and embedded HTML are not accepted.

At most 8192 pixels per side and 16 million total pixels. Choose dimensions matching the SVG viewBox ratio to avoid unexpected padding or distortion.

Your source image is processed locally in this browser. It is not uploaded by this tool.

This tool processes your inputs in your browser. It does not upload or save them. Read about site analytics and privacy.

How to use SVG to PNG

  1. Upload a self-contained SVG or paste its source. You can also load the included example.
  2. Set the desired PNG width and height in whole pixels. Match the SVG viewBox ratio for predictable proportions.
  3. Create the PNG. The tool checks the source and rejects unsafe or unsupported content.
  4. Check the preview and download the PNG. Transparent areas stay transparent.

Example

Load the included 320 × 180 blue card with a white circle and export it at 640 × 360. The resulting PNG has twice the source dimensions in each direction.

Limits and details

  • Only a conservative static SVG subset is supported. Scripts, event handlers, embedded HTML, image elements, animation, external/data resources, DTDs, and XML entities are rejected. Local fragment references such as gradients are allowed.
  • Text uses fonts already available on your device. Rendering of filters and other SVG features depends on browser support; a valid SVG may still render differently from your design application.
  • Source is limited to 1 million characters and output to 8192 pixels per side and 16 million pixels. Oversized or malformed documents are rejected.

Common questions

Can it download images linked inside my SVG?

No. External URLs and data resources are blocked. This converter is for self-contained shapes, paths, text, and supported local references.

Does the tool display my SVG directly on the page?

No. It parses and validates the source, renders it as an image, and displays only the generated PNG preview.
