PDF Splitter

Choose the pages you want to keep and create one new PDF. Enter single pages and ranges in any order. Your original file remains unchanged.

Use 1-based page numbers and ascending ranges separated by commas. Listed order and repetitions are kept.

Files stay in your browser. Maximum: 50 MB total input, 300 PDF pages, and no encrypted PDFs.

This tool processes your inputs in your browser. It does not upload or save them. Read about site analytics and privacy.

How to use PDF Splitter

  1. Select an unencrypted PDF containing up to 300 pages.
  2. Enter pages such as 1, 3-5, using the page positions in the file.
  3. Select Extract pages to create one PDF containing your selection.
  4. Download the result and check its page order.

Example

For a 10-page PDF, enter 8, 2-4 to create a four-page PDF containing original pages 8, 2, 3, and 4, in that order.

Limits and details

  • Input is limited to 50 MB and 300 pages. You may extract no more than 300 pages including repetitions.
  • Encrypted, password-protected, corrupt, or unsupported PDFs cannot be processed.
  • Saving edited PDFs invalidates digital signatures. Rewritten output does not guarantee preservation of accessibility tags, interactive forms, annotations, or document-level metadata.
  • This extracts one PDF per operation. It does not create a ZIP or a separate file for every page.

Common questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. These tools load local PDF libraries and process the files in this browser tab. Your selected files are not sent to a server.

Can I repeat or reorder pages?

Yes. For example, 3, 1, 3 repeats page 3 and puts page 1 between its two copies. Descending ranges are rejected.

Are page numbers the printed labels?

No. Page 1 means the first physical page in the PDF, even if the document prints a different page label.
