How to use this currency converter

  1. Enter the amount you want to convert.
  2. Select the currency you have in the From field.
  3. Select the currency you want in the To field.
  4. Choose Convert to calculate the result. Use the swap button to reverse the two currencies.

The result includes the reference rate and the date supplied by the exchange-rate provider. No account, email address, or payment information is required.

Understanding the result

This calculator uses a market reference rate. It is useful for travel planning, invoices, international purchases, and quick estimates, but it is not a guaranteed bank or card rate. Banks, payment processors, currency exchanges, and credit cards may add a markup, service charge, or foreign transaction fee.

For example, if the calculator shows that 100 USD converts to 85 EUR, your final received amount may be lower after a provider applies its exchange spread or fees. Check the final quoted total before completing a financial transaction.

Supported currencies

The converter includes major and frequently used currencies such as USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CAD, AUD, CHF, CNY, INR, MXN, BRL, KRW, SGD, HKD, AED, SAR, THB, PLN, NZD, and ZAR. The full available list appears in the two currency selectors above.

Currency converter questions

How often are exchange rates updated?

The provider supplies a rate date with each conversion. The date shown below your result is the authoritative update date for that calculation.

Why is my bank's conversion different?

Banks and payment providers can use their own rates and add spreads or fees. This tool shows a reference conversion before those provider-specific costs.

Can I use this result for accounting or a payment?

Use it as an estimate. For accounting, tax, contracts, or payments, use the rate and documentation required by your bank, accountant, payment provider, or governing authority.

Does the converter store my amount?

No. The amount is calculated in your browser and is not saved by this tool.
